I ordered a half size larger than I normally would wear, 'cause I had planned to wear thick socks or a couple pair of socks with the boot. The burgundy color looks a lot better than the black. 7 days in the rain and snow of Scotland and my feet stayed dry.
Coat of paint is a little hard, everything else is very good
Despite the great reviews, this style didn't work for me. While the toe box width was fine, there was too much fabric material underneath the laces that it kept bunching up despite trying to keep it flat while lacing up. The heel area was gaping at the sides as well. Going down a 1/2 size would have made the length too short. Just because someone has a wide forefoot, doesn't mean that the entire foot from front to back is wide. Rockport usually does a better sizing job.
